 DANCE CLASSES  

** All classes are non-refundable and non-transferable. **

Private classes are given only at the home studio location.

Beginner: Basic hip & upper body isolations, shimmy & snake arm movements.

Intermediate: Layering above basics, advanced shimmies, traveling steps, & dance combinations. Learn to dance with zills and veils.

FYI: There are a limited number of items left over from Shimmy Shake Dance & Apparel for sale: Zills, veils, costumes, skirts, tops, hip scarves, harem pants, etc. It's always good to take a look!

About the Dance Spaces

Bronx Home Studio: For those who don't like to leave home or be too far from the kids, Amira's home studio is cozy, and dancer-friendly   The studio has 11 ft. high ceilings, hardwood floors, mirrored wall, and air conditioning.  

PLEASE NOTE HOME STUDIO REQUEST:  Please do not arrive late to class. Arrive 10 minutes early to change or call ahead.

BY TRAIN: #6 To Pelham Bay Park, last stop.

BY CAR: Hutchinson River Parkway to Pelham Parkway East.

Zills ($17.99 Turquoise™ Zills) and veils ($35-$45) are available for sale as well as hip scarves, costumes, skirts, practice tops, jewelry, etc.

Private! Dance Instruction in Home Studio in the Bronx (Pelham Bay Park area)

There is a 24-hour phone cancellation policy of private classes. You are responsible to pay the class if you do not contact the studio to cancel in time.
